Eleanor Tinsley Park: Freedom Over Texas
Event details: Mayor John Whitmire is rolling out the red, white and blue carpet with a high-energy evening headlined by Grammy winner Ashley McBryde and multi-platinum country star Lee Brice, all topped off with a dazzling fireworks finale over the Houston skyline. With a refreshed layout and improved accessibility, this year’s event is set to be the best yet. Explore themed zones like the tropical Bud Light Bayou Bash, the family-friendly Dr Pepper Flavor Zone, the activity-packed Red, White & Play Kids Zone and Liberty Park’s salute to our military and first responders.
Cost: Tickets are $10, kids five and under get in free
Location: Event parking is available for a fee at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts parking garage located at 800 Bagby Street. Enter the parking garage on Rusk between Houston Avenue and Bagby Street. Additional event parking is also available in the Theater District Parking Garages, accessible on Rusk Street between Bagby and Smith Streets.

POST Houston: 4th of July Celebration on Skylawn
