An immersive summer stay at Sedona’s only MICHELIN Key hotel

Ambiente is Sedona’s most luxurious stay and the first landscape hotel in North America, delivering a cinematic connection to the outdoors with IMAX-style panoramas from every atrium.

The intimate, upscale property includes 40 cube-shaped atriums, each perched on stilts to float above the terrain and encased in floor-to-ceiling bronze-tinted glass offering 180-degree views of the surrounding sandstone formations. With nightly rates starting at $999, summer presents an exceptional opportunity to experience Ambiente at a special value compared to peak season rates.

Nature right outside your atrium

With nature and luxury impeccably intertwined, Ambiente evokes the tranquility of a secluded desert hideaway amid iconic red rocks sculpted by the hands of time.

Revered for its crimson cliffs, energy vortexes and small-town charm, Sedona offers a majestic backdrop for lavish summer escapes. Set at 4,500 feet above sea level, the elevated landscape brings summer temperatures 15 to 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix, perfect for outdoor adventure and restorative relaxation.

New: Rooftop dining with panoramic Sedona views

New this summer, Ambiente is debuting Sip, Savor & Soar Above It All: A Rooftop Rendezvous, which immerses travelers in a private, open-air dining experience atop each atrium.

Striking scenery provides a breathtaking setting for a three-course, chef-curated menu paired with a bottle of Champagne or a selection of wines. The elevated evening escape from June 1 through Sept. 30 offers a distinctive way to dine under the Sedona sky in secluded luxury.

“Summer reveals a quieter, more intimate side of Sedona. With fewer crowds and a slower pace, it’s the perfect season to experience the serenity of the high desert,” says Jennifer May, co-founder and co-owner of Ambiente. “From the moment guests arrive, they’re immersed in the majesty of the landscape and the thoughtful luxury that defines Ambiente. Whether hiking just steps from their atrium or savoring a sunset from a private rooftop, travelers will uncover an unrivaled connection to nature and outdoor adventure.”

Explore red rock wonders with exclusive outdoor excursions

Guests can begin the day by exploring the area’s mountainous beauty with direct access to the Adobe Jack Trailhead located on-site, offering a seamless connection to pristine hiking trails and sweeping red rock vistas. Afterward, return to the property for a refreshing dip in the pond-shaped pool, thoughtfully designed to reflect the natural contours of the landscape, while enjoying elevated poolside fare and handcrafted cocktails, all served with front-row views of Sedona’s storied red rock monoliths.

For those seeking adventure, the hotel offers a selection of curated experiences.

Desert-inspired wellness at award-winning Velvet Spa

After adventuring through Sedona’s rugged terrain, guests can unwind at the award-winning Velvet Spa. This intimate, three-room spa focuses on sustainably sourced ingredients and modern techniques to create sensory-driven treatments to restore body and mind. With a secluded outdoor infrared sauna overlooking ancient waterways, Velvet offers an immersive wellness experience inspired by Sedona’s mystical energy.

New this season is a trio of immersive sound healing experiences designed to restore balance and promote deep relaxation through the vibrational power of Himalayan singing bowls. The Harmonic Alignment is a 60-minute, five-bowl individual treatment that uses hand-hammered bowls placed directly on the body and within the energy field to calm the nervous system and guide the mind into a meditative state.

The Vibrational Journey blends bodywork and sound therapy, beginning with a 60-minute full-body massage followed by 30 minutes of personalized sound healing to release tension, restore energetic balance and foster a deep sense of well-being.

For those seeking a complementary enhancement, Sound & Body Synergy offers a 30-minute, three-bowl sound journey that can be added to any massage or body treatment, available as an individual or couples experience.

To finish the evening, marvel at the Milky Way from atop the private rooftop deck, where Sedona’s celestial canopy comes alive in brilliant, unobstructed clarity; a rarefied wonder made possible by its designation as a certified International Dark Sky Community.

For an elevated experience, Private Rooftop Stargazing with a professional astronomer guides the exploration of constellations and galaxies using custom telescopes hand-selected for Ambiente. Alternatively, toast to the night with Vino & Vistas for a curated rooftop winetasting, where a seasoned sommelier presents the world’s finest wine paired with a thoughtfully composed charcuterie board, all set against the glowing red rock horizon.
