An adventure-fueled brand expands to Arizona’s red rock country

Mountain Modern Sedona has 89 oversized rooms, studios and suites spanning across eight buildings, an outdoor pool and hot tub, a welcoming communal lobby and The Den — a restaurant-meets-social hub designed for pre- or post-adventure drinks and bites. Designed by Phoenix-based architecture and design firm RSP Architects, Mountain Modern Sedona upholds the brand’s functional yet contemporary, destination-inspired aesthetic. Most studios feature balconies and fireplaces in addition to a thoughtful layout and premium amenities from MALIN+GOETZ. Boasting a practical-meets-playful design with calming juniper green accents, innovative features tailored to the modern outdoor enthusiast include custom gear walls that offer year-round storage for hiking boots, walking sticks, backpacks and more.

Drawing upon the destination’s health-focused travelers, two suites were transformed into wellness-centric retreats, each featuring a dedicated studio equipped with a Peloton bike, yoga gear, and exercise equipment that can be further enhanced by utilizing online fitness programs.

Inside the bright and airy lobby, a striking digital screen behind the front desk greets guests as it displays iconic videos of the Sedona landscape, captured by acclaimed outdoors and nature photographer Ryan Sheets. His iconic photography can also be found throughout the property and behind the headboards in all the guestrooms, paying homage to Sedona’s stunning surroundings.
