Community events to pair with fall stays

Fort Worth’s fall calendar is full of seasonal festivals, haunted attractions and plaza programming, perfect to pair with hotel bookings.

  • Stocktoberfest (Stockyards): An Oktoberfest-style fall festival with beer gardens, live music, stein-hoist contests and cattle drives. This event is weekend-focused and is timed for autumn, making it an ideal add-on for Stockyards-area stays at Drover or the Stockyards Hotel.
  • Cutting Edge Haunted House and seasonal haunted walking tours: Cutting Edge (in a historic meatpacking plant) and local ghost-walk operators run heightened fall schedules and special Halloween-weekend shows.
  • Sundance Square fall programming (plaza concerts and pop-ups): Sundance Square curates autumn concerts, family festivals and seasonal pop-up markets; many of these events are scheduled specifically for fall weekends and tie directly to downtown hotel packages.
  • Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering and rodeo-themed fall weekends: These heritage-focused events are scheduled in the autumn months and offer western music, parades and rodeo elements that make a true Texan fall itinerary.
  • Fall art walks and makers markets (weekend pop-ups): Galleries and weekend markets often present fall openings and holiday-maker pop-ups during October–November, offering seasonal shopping and event coverage that complements boutique hotel stays.

  • Emilia’s Fort Worth: Seasonal Italian at The Crescent
Tucked inside The Crescent Hotel, Emilia’s offers a refined, Mediterranean-inspired menu that shifts for autumn.
