Pedal Haus Brewery announces the return of its Oktoberfest celebration, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, at its new Mesa location at 201 W. Main St., from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. A special Oktoberfest menu and seasonal beers, including its award-winning Oktoberfest Märzen, German-style Pilsner and special release Dortmunder, will be available at all Pedal Haus locations in Tempe, Phoenix, Chandler and Mesa throughout September and into the first week of October.

Oktoberfest fun comes to downtown Mesa on Oct. 4

“Oktoberfest is one of our favorite celebrations, and we can’t wait to host the main event free of charge in Mesa,” said Pedal Haus Brewery founder Julian Wright. “The outdoor biergarten is the perfect atmosphere to bring the community together and raise a toast to great beer and delicious food, as well as have a little fun in the sun.”

Free community event features live music, contests and more

The Mesa celebration will feature live music and activities from 4 to 9 p.m., such as stein-holding competitions and a sausage-eating contest. The brewery will also offer promotional discounts, including $2 off steins of the Oktoberfest, German-style Pilsner and the special release Dortmunder from opening until 9 p.m. Guests dressed in traditional Oktoberfest attire can purchase their first stein for $5.

Pedal Haus brings back its award-winning Märzen and new Dortmunder

The Oktoberfest beer is among the most popular offerings at Pedal Haus and will be available for guests to enjoy at all four locations starting on Aug. 7. This German Märzen, also known as an amber lager, features a rich malt taste with a biscuit-like flavor. The Dortmunder will debut in early September, offering a crisp and clean taste with a touch of malt sweetness, perfectly balanced by a light hop finish.

Seasonal beers and German-inspired dishes available through Oct. 5

The brews pair well with bratwursts, soft pretzels, burgers and pork schnitzel, all featured on the Oktoberfest-inspired special menu. This seasonal menu will be available at all locations from September until Sunday, Oct. 5.
