December cocktail of the month at Nobu Scottsdale
Building on the rich, full-bodied warmth of Macallan Sherry Cask 12 Year Scotch, the December Cocktail of the Month is the Tamarind Setsu Sour, concocted by Bartender Robyn Kim. The tamarind syrup’s bold tangy flavor helps complement the smooth, slightly fruity flavors from the Macallan 12 with a hint of spice from the sherry cask.
“The sweet notes from the Macallan 12 reminded me of tamarindo candies that I enjoyed as a kid,” Kim says. “I wanted to elevate it with a play on a scotch sour with tamarind. The setsu implements the ‘snow element’ from the fee foam to bring a nice velvety mouthfeel. The flavors bring a nice, spiced holiday vibe.”
