Beginning April 29, 2026, The Force will be extra strong at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. This spring, the park pays tribute to the otherworldly timeline in a big way. For the first time, guests will experience multiple eras of the Star Wars saga coexisting on Batuu, bringing iconic Jedi, Sith, music and storylines together in one immersive land.

Disney fans will soon encounter characters from the Galactic Civil War, the New Republic and the Age of the Resistance, all woven into Black Spire Outpost. Translation: no matter where your Star Wars loyalty lies, the Force will be strong across the park.

What’s new at Galaxy’s Edge

Visitors can expect legendary characters, including Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo and Chewbacca roaming Batuu, alongside returning favorites like Rey, Ahsoka Tano, The Mandalorian, Grogu and R2-D2. Guests can experience different eras of Star Wars history as they explore all the areas of Galaxy’s Edge.

Adding to the cinematic feel, musical selections from John Williams’ original Star Wars scores will play throughout this magical Star Wars land, from the iconic Main Title and Force Theme to classic motifs heard near Oga’s Cantina.

Shops, dining and experiences evolve with the story

First Order Cargo will transform into Black Spire Surplus, offering artifacts from multiple eras (do you think they’ll have any Tosche Station power converters?), while Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities will rotate its rare collectibles. Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop will also reflect earlier generations of builders, while still offering guests the chance to create their own droids and lightsabers.

Fan-favorite attractions Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance remain firmly in place, along with beloved bites such as blue milk and ronto wraps.

Nighttime magic continues

Evenings at Galaxy’s Edge will still feature the immersive projection show “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga,” with select nights offering “Fire of the Rising Moons,” pairing fireworks with iconic Star Wars music against Batuu’s spires.

Whether you walk the path of the Jedi, the Sith or somewhere in between, these updates mark one of the most ambitious evolutions yet for Galaxy’s Edge. Enhancements will begin appearing in the coming months ahead of the official debut on April 29, 2026.
