Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk, a luxury hotel located on San Antonio’s famous waterway, completed a nearly $9 million renovation project. Lobby gets a modern, welcoming refresh

The updated lobby features brand-new check-in desks with a modern design, backdropped by dark wood accents and artfully designed crystal chandeliers. The renovation also includes fresh contemporary lighting fixtures and an open layout designed to provide an aesthetically appealing yet warm and welcoming atmosphere.

“We are so excited to provide our guests with these impressive updates, these renovations reflect our commitment to providing an exceptional stay for every guest who walks through our doors,” says Ryan Fender, general manager of Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk. “The completion of this project brings comfort and convenience to our guests and celebrates traditional Texas flavors and hospitality in a luxurious setting.”

Texas-inspired sips and bites

The enhancements also include the installation of Tejas Lounge, located at the west end of the lobby. The Texas-inspired lounge provides a curated selection of Texas spirits and an array of delicious light bites in an intimate setting. The cozy yet sophisticated space provides a relaxing atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

Taking the place of the hotel’s Bar Rojo is Moda Fare, a comfortable space where guests can enjoy Italian cuisine and craft cocktails. Moda Fare embodies the Italian approach to style, where comfort, beauty and tradition come together in every aspect of life, from personal appearance to hosting and entertaining. The restaurant also reflects the lobby’s updated design with wood accents, updated furniture, brand-new wood flooring and a lush garden-style patio.

Spoonful Provisions elevates coffee service

Additionally, Perks Coffee has been upgraded into an upscale coffee house named Spoonful Provisions, offering a selection of premium coffee roasters. The renovated coffee house showcases a sleek marble counter, blue tiles, and a striking floral mural. The artful space invites guests to indulge in fresh treats made in-house, as well as delicious locally brewed coffee.
