Brighten, tighten, repeat: SEV Laser Facials in Chandler (results revealed!)

I got my first-ever laser facial at SEV Laser and I’m loving the results. After an initial 20-ish-minute treatment at SEV Laser in Chandler, I could immediately see changes in my facial skin. An added perk, what I lovingly — and sometimes not so lovingly — call my waddle (extra skin under my chin) has vastly improved. After five treatments, my facial skin continues to look more youthful and feel more resilient.
Find out why the non-invasive, SEV Laser Facial is ideal for brightening and tightening skin, without downtime or significant side effects.

How are Sev Laser Facials different than ablative lasers?
Unlike CO2 and other types of ablative (more invasive) lasers, SEV Laser Facials are administered utilizing non-ablative laser technology (Nd:YAG laser with a 1064 wavelength).
Whereas a CO2 laser treatment requires weeks to months of recovery, penetrating deep skin layers, SEV Laser Facials promote collagen production and skin tightening, without requiring major downtime. The only side effect I experience is a little bit of reddening immediately after the facial, which disappears within minutes.
Since SEV Laser Facials are non-invasive, they can typically be scheduled two weeks apart. The more you get, the more results you’ll see.

Laser facial prep: A few things to do (and avoid) before you go
It’s important to know what steps should — and shouldn’t — occur prior to a laser facial. And you’ll want to pay attention, otherwise you’ll have to reschedule your appointment — something that I ended up having to do because I messed up the timeline of discontinuing the use of Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs). Oops!
Here’s what you need to know before your facial appointment:
- Wear sunscreen and avoid sun exposure for two weeks prior to treatment
- Discontinue sunless tanner one week before your appointment
- Abstain from using skincare products containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), BHAs, exfoliating acids, retinol and benzoyl peroxide seven days before a facial
- Arrive at your appointment with clean skin (no makeup or skincare products)
Laser facial aftercare: No downtime!
One of my favorite things about post-SEV Facial Laser treatment is that life can pretty much resume as normal — you can even apply makeup immediately after, so if you have something to do after your session, no muss, no fuss!
Here are some things to keep in mind after a laser facial:
- Apply sunscreen (SPF 30+) immediately following your appointment (and daily, for best results)
- Avoid exfoliating and resurfacing skincare products for at least seven days
- Book your next laser facial within two to four weeks to enhance the results of your treatment
