Recently, I had the pleasure of undertaking the ultimate water tasting. As a desert dweller, I’m constantly drinking water — at home from morning to bedtime, during my travels, and before, during and after yoga practice and cardio workouts … you get the idea! Having now sampled One Water, premium spring water straight from Canada’s Rocky Mountains, I can tell you how it perfectly pairs with all the above (and more).

After doing some homework, I learned that One Water has the makings of not only a crisp, refreshing and satisfying beverage, but it also caters to the health and wellness consumer. As a completely unaltered, natural water, the product is naturally high in pH (around 8.2 ± 0.2), low in total dissolved solids and free from additives.

According to Mayo Clinic, a pH greater than 7 is alkaline, while a pH less than 7 is acidic, so “proponents say that alkaline water can neutralize acid in the body.” Another claim linked to high pH water: it helps combat dehydration.

Globally sustainable with smart — and outright cool — design

Did you know that single-use plastic water bottles — polyethylene terephthalate (PET) — accounted for 44.7% of all single-serve beverage packaging in the U.S., according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH)? I didn’t! But now I do — and I also learned that One Water’s interlocking bottle technology reduces carbon footprint by 35%.

The interlocking bottle technology is the first of its kind. In addition to its sustainability, this packaging also fits nicely in a pantry, on a shelf or in the fridge.

One Water is the water for me — and it can be for you, too

As someone who truly adores water, One Water has my vote. Its combination of natural, additive-free, pure spring water, refreshing taste and hydration is perfect for Southwest life — and the sustainable, responsible mission of the company is on point for those seeking to reduce their carbon footprint.
